This statement explains how Resolution Studios, hereafter referred to as ‘we’ or ‘us’, collect, use, process and store personal information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
What personal information do we collect, hold and process?

We hold the following information relating to current clients, prospective clients who have contacted us with an enquiry and recent clients whom we have worked for in the past six years:

How is the information kept up to date?
All of the personal data we hold is audited annually and any that does not meet the criteria set out above is removed. Data is also removed at any time at the request of a data subject.
Collecting personal information

Personal information relating clients, prospective clients and recent clients is given with consent for the purposes of providing a quotation for work or fulfilling a contract. The information is usually given in person by telephone or by email.

Where third party contact information is given to us we check with the source that the owner of the information has consented to having their details passed to us.

A record is kept of where all personal information is gathered from, when it was collected, when it was most recently audited and, where relevant, who gave consent for us to hold the data.
Storing personal information
Customer information is held securely in a digital, password protected, file that can only be accessed by employees of Resolution Studios. This file is backed up daily to a secure online server which also requires password access. Paper files are stored securly.
Does Resolution Studios share personal information with other parties?
We will never share your personal information with a third party without your prior consent. We will never sell your information to a third party.
How is personal information used?
Resolution Studios uses customer contact information to:

request information required to produce visuals

seek clarification on customer requirements

share drafts and final visuals with clients

issue quotes and invoices

update prospective, current and recent customers on the services we offer
Resolution Studios uses contact information where consent has been given for marketing purposes for:

How can I get a copy of the data Resolution Studios has about me?
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. These requests are called Subject Access Requests (SARs) and may take up to 20 working days to process. To make a request please email dpo@resolution-studios.co.uk
What other rights do I have?
You have the right to:

object to processing of personal information if you feel that it is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress

prevent processing for the purpose of direct marketing

have inaccurate personal information rectified, blocked, erased or destroyed

claim compensation for damages caused by a breach of the General Data Protection Regulations
Once an objection has been received, use of the information will be stopped until the objection is resolved. If you have a concern about the way we collect or use your personal information, please raise your concern with the Resolution Studios in the first instance. If you are not satisfied that your objection has been resolved you may refer it to the Information Commissioner’s Office at https://ico.org.uk/concerns/.
