Introduction
At networking events, when asked about my profession, I often introduce myself as an Architectural Visualiser.
However, our work goes beyond collaborating with architects alone.
In this blog post, I'll delve into the diverse clientele we cater to and explain how our services can benefit them. The projects we undertake primarily revolve around construction and the built environment, encompassing anything from small residential extensions to expansive commercial developments.
Our expertise is sought by architects, interior designers, property developers, and estate agents, each of whom we assist in unique ways.
Architects
Our 3D visualisations are an invaluable aid to architects, facilitating effective communication with other members of the design team and clients, who may not be well-versed in interpreting plans and elevations. Presenting schemes in three-dimensional images makes it simpler for a layperson to understand, enabling architects to effortlessly convey their proposals to clients without requiring specialised training or extensive experience.
These tools not only provide viewers with a better grasp of the development's shape and form, but also showcase the proposed materials, empowering stakeholders to make well-informed decisions about the project. For architectural clients, we often create 3D images to facilitate discussions with the design team and stakeholders or to supplement a planning application.
In a recent project, we created a 3D model of a development along with the surrounding area, illustrating that the proposed buildings height would have no adverse impact on its surroundings and we provided a number of views from several vantage points.
Interior Design
Our collaboration with interior designers involves helping them develop and refine their creative vision, enabling them to share their ideas convincingly with clients. Although mood boards and photos provide a glimpse of the desired ambiance, they don't capture the precise interplay of individual elements in a space.
Having completed a project in central London not long ago, I visited the site and experienced the magical feeling of stepping into a space we had brought to life through our 3D model. Witnessing how closely the finished product aligned with our original 3D concept was immensely gratifying.
Property Development
For property developers, our photo-realistic three-dimensional images of proposed developments can be used to jumpstart the marketing process, extending their marketing window and allowing more time to attract potential tenants or buyers for homes still under construction.
These 3D images aren't just static representations; they evoke emotions and can be tailored to resonate with specific target demographics.
In a recent project, our visuals and flythrough animation showcased three new build detached homes, nestled in their proposed natural surroundings, providing the developer with marketing assets even before construction was complete.
We also went a step further and provided a 360-degree virtual tour of these high-end homes, offering viewers a personalised virtual experience.
Estate Agents
Beyond working with property developers, we've collaborated with numerous estate agents, equipping them with imagery to initiate the marketing process for developments that are still in progress.
Additionally, we've provided images of properties with approved planning permission for extensions. In one particular case, the estate agent sought to sell not only the property itself but also the potential dream it held for buyers, emphasising the value of possessing pre-approved permission to extend.
Conclusion
Our role as an Architectural Visualiser extends beyond architects, encompassing interior designers, property developers, and estate agents, all of whom benefit from our exceptional 3D visualisations and animations.
By creating photo-realistic representations of our clients' developments, we empower our clients to convey their visions effectively and help them make confident decisions about their projects.
